IN THE HOUSE: Dylan Sesink Clee

Dylan Sesink Clee (34) has lived in Utrecht his whole life, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. As Global Export Marketing Manager at Keune Haircosmetics, a Dutch family-owned brand with over a century of history, he spends his days building consistent brand experiences across the globe. A role that suits him perfectly, because Dylan is someone who knows how to get people on board and make things happen.

Friends describe him as easy-going, relaxed and always up for a laugh. But beneath that laid-back exterior is someone who is genuinely driven and deeply positive. It’s not just a personality trait, it’s a way of life. Where others see obstacles, Dylan sees opportunity. Always.

"I don't really have one famous person who inspires me. But I can really be inspired by someone who could easily complain about life and then chooses to keep going and keep pushing forward instead. In general I'm inspired by people who are always able to see the positive side of things," Dylan says.

Way before settling into his marketing career, Dylan spent several summers working as a tour guide abroad, a chapter that shaped him more than he might have expected. Being young and responsible for thousands of youngsters, managing a team, maintaining partner relationships, and hitting commercial targets all at once was demanding, but it taught him something invaluable: how to stay calm, keep things moving and lead with energy.

That same energy now goes into his two daughters, aged five and one and a half, whom he describes, with obvious pride, as two little personalities full of character and confidence. They are his biggest passion and his greatest source of drive. So much that he has one bucket list item that says it all: showing them every continent before they turn 21.

At work, Dylan thrives on collaboration, specifically the kind that brings together people with different backgrounds and expertise to build something genuinely cool. He is energised by flexibility, by seeing the impact of his work in markets around the world, and by the feeling of fixing things, both as a metaphor and in real life.

"Don't overcomplicate things. Keep it simple and to the point."

It is a motto that shapes everything Dylan does, from the way he approaches brand strategy to the way he shows up for the people around him. He is drawn to brands with a minimalistic yet premium aesthetic and strong story, exactly the kind of thinking he brings to his own work at Keune.

Dylan’s first introduction to House of Treats came when a friend invited him to attend a session with G-Star. For him, the membership is about more than networking. It is a space to connect with brands critically and constructively, to ask what the story is, whether it makes sense, and whether he would actually buy it. A marketer’s mindset carried with curiosity and a good sense of humour.
